Junior George Watson and senior Matt Aho also placed in the top 60 of the 28-team meet as Watson finished 51st in 31:37.48 and Aho was 53rd in 31:39.50. Senior Alec Danner led the BU men's team on the day, running the 10K course in a time of 31:25.32 to place 39th overall. Sophomore Ashley Maguire placed second on the team and 35th overall in 21:28.43, while Sophia McDonnell (22:06.5), Tiana LoStracco (22:13.50) and Julia Nielsen (22:29.75) rounded out the team's top five.īradley's 10th-place team finish was also the highest in the Missouri Valley Conference, finishing one spot ahead of Loyola.
Overall, Jansen helped lead the Braves to a 10th-place team finish in the nine-state regional. Her 16th-place finish is also the best by a BU rookie in school history – topping the previous record of 17th set by Angie Zimmerman in 1997. She was the top freshman at the NCAA Midwest Regional – 23 seconds ahead of the next fastest true freshman.
